For those curious about his performance at centre:

Elias goes 8/13 for 61.54% in face-offs

Not a huge sample size, but certainly promising!

Do you happen to know the quality of centermen in that league as far as faceoffs go?  This stat looks great and if it can translate to anywhere close to that in the NHL then we MUST keep him in the center position.

With that said, I would imagine that the talent isn't typically NHL-class so not only is this not a huge sample size, but the results are probably skewed to some degree.

Our PP is going to be just lethal  (drool)

Surprisingly our PP is already top 10 in the league without a legit powerplay QB defenceman running the blueline so if we get that in the near future and EP can translate his skill to the NHL then yeah......drool......

Faceoffs are less talent-focused than other aspects of the game.  It has a lot to do with strength and technique.  Typically it becomes a test of strength if cheating is kept to a minimum so for Elias to have those numbers as a lanky teen vs 30+ year old men, that's extremely promising.

To tack on a massive caveat though, there is also massive grey area where a win that is not clean still counts as a win but causes trouble for your team trying to set up during a PP.  Conversely while a dirty loss counts as a loss, if you are holding the puck out of harms way in the defensive zone, it can be super useful.
