Looks like he was probably late in the session and had already done a bunch of drills previously. Really stiff and shortened in his movements. Certainly not representative of how he’s skated in the games I’ve seen.

I thought his action was a bit stiff. He needs to loosen up a bit. I doubt it was fast. Edit, Just read your post SID and it seems we are in agreement. Popular Post cuporbust
Love this quote from his old coach in moosejaw.... He has that old-school rock ’em, sock ’em where he’s not afraid to lean into somebody. You don’t see a lot of big hits anymore and he’s willing to do that. And he’s not intimidated if guys want to make him accountable. We had a game in Spokane where he ran over a guy and their supposed tough guy came out and gave him a bit of an ear lashing. And the next shift Jett ran him over, too.” lol. Love this guy already 2 3 7
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Not many throwback kind of D in today's NHL, but one that plays that style and is successful while being mobile and decent at puck moving reminds me of Josh Manson from the Ducks. CanucksJay
I liked what he brought last night. He looked good out there. Had a shift with a couple of good hits. It's too bad there's not a young guns tourney like a few seasons ago. Would love to see a repeat of Virtanen on Mcdavid but this time Woo on Yamamoto or something lol

Shea Weber, Defense Round 2, Pick 49 Age: 17 Team: Kelowna Ht/Wt: 6-3, 190 Hometown: Sicamous, B.C. Stats: 70 GP, 2 goals, 16 assists, 18 points, 167 PIM Comment: Weber is a tough, physical player who fills the Predators need for a big defender. Weber is most noted for his strong skating ability and his no-fear approach to playing defense. The 6-3 defenseman has the ability to physically dominate opponents and clear out players in front of the net. The Predators thought so highly of Weber that they moved defensemen Tomas Slovak to Colorado to make room for Weber. Weber needs to add muscle to be successful in the NHL. Weber was member of the 2003 WHL Champion Kelowna Rockets this season. Read more at http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/6107/predators_draft_review/#Hw6LdOlSdyVor3TS.99 Sound familiar? Woo's idol is Weber. Right shot on top of it. And to think Shae's brother was a better athlete. But didnt want to go that route

I'm definitely looking forward to that tourney. Edit Now. I remember. I read the press release and got disinterested because the only other club involved is Winnipeg. I wanted to see a 4 team tourney. Edited July 7, 2018 by CanucksJay
