One of the nicest men I’ve ever met.  Lives in Parksville.

Met Howie in the lobby of the Hotel Russia in 1974. Canada (WHA) vs Red Army. Howie strolls into the lobby with a big stoogie in his mouth, a suit & tie, and a pair of sneakers on. He was/is a classic. During our time in Russia Howie would hold court in the lobby every morning telling us what the Russians were doing behind the screens. Yup, Gordie Howe found a secret 'mike' in his room last night. The Russians were listening for our strategies. It was all cold war stuff at its best. What a memory.

so Bieksa comparable confirmed?

Jett has the same sort of stiff upright playing style as Bieksa, he has the same unflappable overall look as Bieksa....he hits like Bieksa....

Jett even takes DoG penalties by firing the puck over the glass like Bieksa....BUT....he has to learn how to do the Bieksa "Smirk" after taking a penalty...once he can do that then he will truly be KB2...

KB2, the newer, more improved version of KB3

Going to believe Woo has an inside running for the 6th/7th dman spot because the kind of game he plays.  It is so unique and distinguishable from the rest of the Dman invited to Canada's summer show down roster, as all of them are puck moving dman. Woo was the only one that brought physicality and in your face mantra.

Can't wait for 3 seasons down the road when we hear:

"In this heated rivalry match between the Flames and the Canucks, tensions are running high. And OH MY!! Woo has just completely LEVELLED Foo. Foo is DOWN. Foo never saw Woo coming. The crowd is Wooing. Or are they Fooing? They're definitely not Booing. And a Line Brawl ENSUES!!"

Phew...good thing Pu doesn't play for either team!

What if they ended up in one team then one guy scores and the other two assists.

That would be awesome lol.

Better yet though would go something like this " Woo dumps Pu in front of the net........now Foo comes in and trips over Pu trying to get to Woo. Now Woo and Foo lands on Pu can you believe it" I can hear Shorty now..... ;)  Don Taylor would be in his glory with something like this.

Another jangle ::D

Can't wait until he's doing this on the Canucks in a couple years :towel:

Awesome.

Well, it won’t be against half-grown kids any longer, an advantage he has today.

Lets hope he also continues to grow and maintain that aspect of his game, which is a most welcome addition to the Dcore’s composition.
