VegasCanuck Posted October 1, 2018 Share Posted October 1, 2018 Just an open discussion and some questions to answer, since we haven't exactly looked like a scoring machine in exhibition play. #1 Who scores our first goal? #2 How many periods does it take? #3 Who does our first win of the season come against? #4 Do we name a captain or go with leadership by committee this year? Let's face it and be honest, this season is about growth, not about making the playoffs, much less competing for the cup. I'm actually looking forward to this season and watching how this group grows together, through all the struggles that I'm sure will come. In being first to answer my own questions #1 Going out on a limb and saying we're going to see someone have a breakout season. Virtanen scores first from Boeser and Petterson #2 Goal will come in second period of first game #3 I think we will drop first game in Vancouver but spoil Calgary's Saturday night with a 3-2 win in our second game. #4 I personally think we will do a year of leadership by committee with no Captain assigned.
