Maybe we sign him to play in Utica? He's a pretty good AHL player. Unless he was having dressing room issues or maybe he was the player with the video game issues but either way he's a solid AHL player wouldn't mind bringing him in to play some Comets hockey!!!

But...asset management!!!

At the time I didn't like the trade.  That ended in short order.  He just doesn't have that "it" factor needed to be a player

But hey, gotta complain about something right

Probably gets one more team to give him a shot, then off to Europe next year after playing in the AHL this season.

How about Boston had 3 chances to draft ONE of Boeser, Barzal, Connor or Chabot......... ^_^

and thank god they missed on 2 of 3 and only got Debrusk out of those 3 picks. Imagine if they hit 3 for 3 what they'd have? Barzal, Chabot, Boeser plus a stanley cup finalist? = multiple cups

Not trying to jinx anything, but that 2015 draft is starting to look like this decade's 2003 draft.  In no particular order, that draft has produced:

McDavid

Eichel

Marner

Hanifin

Provorov

Werenski

Meier

Rantanen

DeBrusk

Barzal

Connor

Chabot

Boeser

Konecny

and that's just the first round, with promise from other first rounders like Strome (post-trade), White, Juulsen, Roslovic and Beauvillier; not to mention post-1st rounders like Aho, Dunn, Cirelli, Joseph, Malgin, Bear, Balcers, Terry, Gaudette, Nutivaara (and Canucks got 2 players on that list, with possibly Brisebois and Jasek to come)

Go GMJB - Friday can't come soon enough!!  :towel:

I think this draft may be very successful at producing some great talent as well. its unfortunate we didn't have the ability to gain more picks. I am still hoping we find  way to move Tanev for a first given the deal SJ made today. Also noticed, for the first time (i think at least), Sportsnet is covering the second round on Saturday as well!
