Every time i give that damned nigerian prince $300 to get his millions out of the trust fund, in good faith i must add, i never see a dollar back.

One of these times though...one of these times.... then i will have the last laugh. Oh yes.

One of the funniest stories/tweets I saw(Zerohedge, The Onion? I forget) was a headline that Hillary Clinton actually RECEIVED the promised millions from the Nigerian Prince!

:^)

Surely she put it right into the Clinton's wonderful, charitable foundation, to help desperate deplorables, like youth in Haiti... Warmed my heart, I tells ya

It's embarrassing. I am so fed up with this current municipal govt...they literally banned backyard fires cuz they received 300 complaints from 80 people about the smoke from their neighbors.

An entire city of 250K can't have s'mores cuz of 80 bloody crybabies.

Annnnnnd now they get scammed like a 90 year old grandma.

I cant wait to see how they balance the books this year.

those people are called "cave,s" crying about virtually everything  lol

My new favorite scam technique is the emails where they say they've installed malware on your computer and used it to make a video of you "enjoying" some type of embarrassing porn; which they'll of course distribute to everyone if you don't send them so-and-so Bitcoins. I always tell them "if you think that'll ruin me, you ain't done your homework".

oh those Russians  ruining elections  and now porn dam you putin

We get lot of calls from people claiming to be the IRS, if you don’t pay you will get arrested by the FBI.

They ask for gift cards as a form of payment.

The funniest part is, it’s always an Indian guy with Anglo Saxon name and thickest accent ever.

Saskatoon.

1/4 million people there now?  I didn’t know it was that big.

The Blades must draw really well.

We aren’t even allowed word burning stoves in houses in Vancouver.  No chance of a burning barrel for sure.  Loved BIG fires on the farm out in Chilliwack.  Throw a couple old tractor or machine tires on, and the fire would burn real hot.  Condo life in town sucks socks.  Can’t even have s friggin’ hibachi on the deck.

Blades dont draw nearly what the Saskatchewan Rush games bring in. Those games sell out, like 14K people, every game.

Blades are lucky if they can draw 5K

Box lacrosse used to be huge here.  Now the teams don’t draw so well.  Nice to hear your team does well.

Im starting a fire on my deck just to piss off the building council.  Need to get some wet leaves.   :frantic:

In Vancouver you can sit on your deck and just watch the crack dealers doing their  thing.. non stop entertainment.  So glad i moved out to beautiful south surrey with nice quiet walks on the beach most evenings.....   Sad what has happened to downtown in the Whack. the last few years... downhill ....

I always liked Saskatoon.  It’s in a beautiful setting.  Hopefully it doesn’t get so many losers living on the sidewalks that old people on their scooters can’t get past, and are forced onto the roads, like we have in town.

I like Stoon. Worked there a couple times. I'm due for a visit.

Best con artist that almost got me was in Banff. Bought him dinner and almost gave him travel money before I figured him out.

Slick.

I heard that Internet fraud in India is punishable by death.  Many of these fraudsters go after elderly people too.  We are way too soft here.  Shoot criminals, who pray on those in society that are the most vulnerable, in the head.

Dear City of Vancouver. Revenue Canada shows you owe $5 million dollars in back taxes.

If you don't pay by August 31st, 2019. Legal proceedings will commence.

Please send via e-pay to JoeSmith@hawtmail.ca

Having a landline I get all sorts of awesome calls, I make sure to either be totally clueless(you want me to turn my PC on, and where is this 'on' button?) that they either give up or I just push hold on my phone and then i pretend I am a Const. from the Fraud division.  Fight fire with fire i say.

I pretend to be very old, take about 5 minutes to get my computer working, then after another 5-10 minutes inform them that I don't have a pc and am using a Mac. Around then they just hang up. :)

But It is 15 minutes, or so, that they aren't scamming a senior.
