In Rochester he put up over 100 pims, in Boston he was a fourth liner - he can play heavy.

 

But he's done here but not in the NHL yet.

Oh man!! What a game!! Best one I’ve been to in a long time!! Small rink, Section 109, Row 12, Dead Centre Ice. Great seats! Got a great view of all the players and got lots of pictures.

Honestly I thought Boeser and Petey didn't have the best nights, especially 5v5.. but they still put huge points up.. really excited to see what this opening night roster can do when the intensity and points are on the line.. have very high hopes for this team!

There's definitely a switch that flips from Pre to Reg season, so I'll reserve total judgement.

 

 

 

You make a great point about the adjustment. It is just pre-season, they're starting out w/ a fraction of the intensity&pace. We'll see how things go from here.

 

Edler's still our top guy. I agree on him getting the extra responsibility. We'll see how Myers can compliment him once pts are on the line. I'm certainly hoping for the best. 

 

I will say, Myers has the size & reach but has more of a puck moving style. Hughes being our 2nd pair guy leaves him in an interesting spot (I don't mean that as a knock to either guy). For Myers I feel like its Edler or Benn, which doesn't make it any easier for him coming into a new team. 

I would like to see Myers with Hughes and Edler with Stecher.  

 

To me Benn and Tanev would be a great shut down pairing.  

 

Good mix of puck rushing, size and IQ on each pairing.

NJ with 18 in 5 games,

LA with 16 in 5 games,

MTL with 17 in 5 games,

and Vegas with 17 in 4 games (and only 5 allowed lol)

 

Also SJ is 0-3 with 8 goals scored, and Dallas has scored 4 goals in 4 games and somehow has won 2 of them.
