All the new guys in the lineup - Miller, Myers, Benn - seemed to struggle at times tonight, but on the other hand the team has reached a critical mass of talent imo where they can score their way out of some mistakes, something that hasn't necessarily been the case the past few years.

His spot on the team could definitely be in jeopardy because I think they are considering trading him.  He retains more value because of his draft position than he brings to the team so far.  They have to decide whether he will improve to be worth more than what they could get for him, or whether they need to cut bait before they end up with a 3rd/4th liner like Taylor Pyatt who can't put it together.

Players on the cusp... Baer looked ok, Jake started well but vanished slowly together with Schaller, LE played ok on PK but invisible otherwise, Leivo played well.

He is 3rd in the NHL in zone exits with possession and as well as zone entries with possession.  Only Josi and Karlsson have better per game numbers.
