Nah there is plenty of reason for Borowiecki to drop the gloves. MacEwen was "running around" on that shift and already steam rolled a player before hitting Borowiecki, so he decided to put an end to it. And did it effectively I might add. MacEwen had a couple of shifts after the fight without even throwing a hit. Stuff like that happens often around the league, just not in Nucks land.

If he didn't hit Borowiecki there would have been no fight. No different than Gudbranson last year not sticking up for a teammate but sticking up for himself.

Well then we can agree to disagree!

Motte was a Hobey Baker candidate - scored 32 goals for Michigan in 15/16 - is a couple years younger than Graovac - who was a nice riser in his plus years, but hard to argue he has more talent than Motte.

I really like this Baertschi - Gaudette - MacEwen line. Really feels like the makings of a good third line.

It's also going to be very hard to justify keeping Schaller in this lineup. He's so unnoticeable. Time to send him to Utica.

If this team wants to make the playoffs, it needs to pick the best players... not just the ones on One Way Contracts.

we would miss sutter.

Incredibly laughable how little some here value Sutter. He would be greatly missed unless traded for equal value which sadly with injury history trade deadline if he's healthy is the earliest we could recoup that value.
