You are an idiot!!!

Name calling. Very, very mature. Lol.

You are aware that the Aquilinis even committed tax evasion when they sold one of their businesses just to buy the remaining 50% of the Canucks, right?

Yeah, what other NHL owner isn't better than Eugene Melynk??

What would your opinion be if JC was the logo?

Don’t be an idiot & you won’t be called one!

Of course they’re better than him...that was the point!! As I said, none are perfect, but the good outweighs the bad by a mile. Maybe stop hating to hate, and use logic / common sense!

Have a good night, Brother.

it's too bad that he doesn't think the NBA is worth pursuing anymore.

guess the NBA ain't returning to this beautiful city.

Aquilini should've bought a team when they weren't costing 2 Billion dollars. How much value would a team like that bring to his sports empire?

He’s a know it all owner, so he should understand.

I just hope the guys press Aquilini about his involvement with Loui staying up here.

Alf, you're really going to have to let it go.

Starting to think Alf has been hijacked by a troll, very left or very right wing comments about posts and now very pro Canuck management/coaching, they never make a mistake it is always someone else's fault.

If you are going to slander the man, I hope you have a good lawyer.

JB said that his talk with Aquilini about sending Gagner to the minors was the most difficult conversation he’s had with our owner.  JB is a very honest guy, and almost to a fault.  IMO he had a similar conversation with Aquilini about Loui, and this time Aquilini said he’ll no.  “I’ve already paid this guy 4 million for this season.  Isn’t there another way?”

I've wondered if Frank ever talked to Louie personally? I would have already...

Didn't even want him before the contract.

It was clear from the start that we were going into a deep rebuild and he would so far past decent when we were exiting the rebuild.

Pointless contract to add.

Not pointless when you consider that it helped put fans in the seats.

As a pure hockey perspective not so much.

Yah, but not 36 million dollars worth of tickets by the time his contract is up......

Could have signed a Gino V 2 that would have put more bums in seats for a fraction of the cost.

Do some math... an extra 1000 in the seats for the year would more than pay his salary. Some 4th liner would still cost a mil and would not put any extra bums in the seats.

Had nothing to do with it. Didn't think he was a fit/type of player we should be signing. Didn't think he'd mesh with the twins in the NHL either.
