3-3 tie, Canadian market team playing on a Saturday afternoon. Sportsnet shows hilites from Friday night, and of course a feature on the TML's.....Meanwhile it's almost 5pm EST. Is it any wonder why we on this coast feel a bias to the East?

It's a silly tradition that should be thrown to the curb where it belongs.

Does seem silly to glorify a moment where a coach stood up to bad reffing.  Admirable in the moment? Certainly.   But to make it some kind of key moment in Canucks history?  Meh.  Waving that towel did not have anything to do with our play on the ice, or even going on to win that series.

I really think that the league needs to start embarassing players that go down too easy through fines and even suspensions.  

I've watched soccer go from a regular skill game to a game of diving. 

There was nothing agregious in today's game from either side but I'm still annoyed by those two dives by Darnell Nurse the other day.  We're on a slippery slope right now in the NHL.
