By this point in the season decisions like passing and shooting options should be second nature.

This team looks lost most nights because there’s no leadership from the coach.

Might as well have Fin behind the bench right now.

I thought Fin WAS behind the bench tonight...  ^_^

Unfortunately there's just no way anything happens to this awful coaching staff. Less so Green, despite his flaws. More so the just horrific assistants. They got extensions this season lol. That's the EASIEST change. If you aren't willing to part with Green at this point, then give new assistants. The special teams and defensive zone coverage are both nonexistent. Something needs to change. This team has played awful hockey in the defensive zone and special teams working on 7 weeks straight.

Also, why in the hell does Jake not get a single f'n shift in the last 3 minutes of the game with the goalie pulled. The guy is CLEARLY playing the best hockey of his career. The first line was dangerous tonight with him. He was making good offensive plays in the offensive zone...he scored in 2 straight games prior to this...and yet..he's benched. Not even when the "2nd unit" of 6 on 5 hockey came out, did Jake get on the ice.

It's just strictly stupid. No matter how well he plays he never gets an opportunity in those situations.

PP1 no goals in 6 games. So many PPs that could've made a huge difference in the outcome of the game and more often than not it's either A or B.

A: Have good possession and passing but unable to generate any real chances

B: Unable to gain entry into zone or setup after doing so, 2nd unit comes out and replicates.

It's just been a complete backbreaker, the PP the last 6.

And he were are again with the feeling of hope being lost all over. Super fun stuff.

Wilfred, we're going through a tough stretch where nothing is clicking.  You're doing a good job of pointing it all out.  Should I bother reminding you that Jake got moved up to the top line?  Is it worth it to discuss all those single points with you?  No, no it's not, so if you think that firing the coach will actually be good for this young team, then suit yourself and keep thinking that way.  I'm just telling you right now that there is 0 point in firing the coach halfway through the season.  If Green goes, he should go in the summer.  Our young guys should be focusing in on their own individual play instead of worrying about learning a completely new system.

I also think the way Green treated Sven has the players quitting on him

Green and Baretschi go back to the Dub and the Winterhawks,.  Probably SB’s biggest fan..  gave him all he could.

This dibaucal revolves around the unmoveable Eriksson...  stymies every5hing.

Guy is a former player and has a double law degree

huge winning coaching record

no moron for sure

Took NJD and SJS to SCF.. very good coach. He'd be my first choice to replace Green.

I'd also replace Baumer with an experienced high end assistant coach. DeBoer would likely want to bring his own assistant in do Baumer will most likely go with Green.

Found on reddit.

Dump & Chase successful attempts/total attempts for tonight.

Canucks: 16/43

Habs: 5/16

I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous.

Our biggest flaw right now it's not sustainable to be overworking that much for a full 82 games.

All the systems are garbage. PK, PP, and 5v5. Line changes are sloppy and ill timed. Those are the problems. The players are playing hard and want to win, they aren't the problem.

Good point about line changes, a bad one cost a goal tonight and I’ve pointed out many bad ones watching that didn’t result in anything but could have. And the amount of too many men beginning of the year was a red flag too. Someone’s at fault for these things. The players aren’t just jump over the bench when they feel like it

Closed door team meeting anytime soon please Bo. Time to light a fire in there, this is sad. Green can’t seem to get them going, so hopefully our Captain can.

I was one to support Green earlier on, but he gets out-coached game after game. Time for a change.

He's  busy virtue signalling on old geezers.

How do they get all those tickets?

I hate the Scabs and love it now the Bruins dominate them and the Laffs!

I'm sure they buy them as soon as they're on sale.

I just get tired of it. This was a winnable game.

We could have shut them up early if the team could actually gel again.
