LOL. You make my point partner.  Why do folks keep giving this guy a pass? Look at what he does vs what his teammates do game in and game out.  He is not producing for us.

He’s not costing us goals either it will come. But I could see green scratching him too he didn’t get much ice time tonight and fewest shifts he’s seen this playoffs.

those celebrations in Surrey look great.

in my neck of the woods i have a bunch of teens living behind me and they were playing basketball during the whole game, not a care in the world about the Canucks...

Wish we had two Motters. I'll admit I was pretty bummed we didn't get a 2nd/3rd rounder for Vanek, but Motter has been fantastic and I am not afraid to admit I was wrong about that. As much as people wanna push Jake out, I have a hard time advocating Rooster in the lineup over anyone.

I also wanted a 4th rounder and was disappointed with the Motte trade...  look at me now, president of the fan club lol

Gotta say we had no business winning this game. The team was clutch and resilient. The fact that they kept fighting when clearly the refs were not on our side shows so much character. They could have easily caved in especially into OT after that heartbreaking last second goal.

These Canucks... they are just all beauties in my opinion. what a great team!

We deserved it more then them. Not sure why you'd say that. We wanted it more and worked harder for it

i'm just curious what's the reasoning behind back to back games for the western teams when they could have easily spaced it out 2 games per conference per night lol like 1 afternoon and 1 evening. plenty of time for them to get the ice prep for next game in between

Exactly. The ice was tilted heavily in STL favour because of the momentum created from missed calls. Penalties on us that were really weak. Hits from behind. Losing a top 4 Dman. It was beautiful how we fought and never gave up after all that

Not sure the fix was in but we got screwed on calls. Didn’t matter in the end. Good teams overcome it and the Nucks proved they are a food team. Maybe even a great team, we’ll see. I, happy as heck right now.

Yeah. -  we ate their lunch!
