wloutet
I'm thinking, millions in the Americas at 1491 CE. Suddenly, Europeans arrive, bringing with them new epidemics. Within about 20 years, 90% of the Americans are dead. Now that is an epidemic.

Trump should have let experts field questions while telling everyone that he was deferring his opinion on subjects that are out of his understanding. But he did not and as such he has brought this mockery onto himself. And this will continue because Donald Trump doesn't know when to shut his pie-hole, and only likes information if it supports his narrative. This thread will have no mention of the Orange Man if he &^@#ed off to Mar-A-Lago, spent all his time golfing till this crisis ended and stopped tweeting BS about the virus that makes people ingest fish tank cleaner. 1 7

If it takes 60%+ to reach herd immunity and a 1% death rate the US population suggests over 200,000 deaths and that is if the health system is not totally overburdened. That is just from Covid. Once the system is overrun there will be a lot of other deaths from other medical problems due to Covid getting all of the attention. Should Trump try to ramp up the economy by Easter the system will be overrun and the death toll will truly possibly be in the millions.

If you want to make a post about the misinformation that Trudeau has engaged in regarding this virus then it would be pertinent for this thread. But as far as I know Trudeau has ummed and ahhed while saying very little that wasn't rehearsed and read from a script.
