Being a former NHL obviously comes with huge built-in cred, but he doesn’t do a great job of sharing his insights unless prodded. He was sort of an anchor on his podcast with Bieksa and gave Kevin nothing to work with in the early episodes. The best on air hosts know that they’re entertainers and not to take sports reporting too seriously. I’ll give him a chance, but not every athlete makes a great commentator. At least with the times that I tend to listen (6-8am, 3-430). The gap between the two stations was narrower in the 3-430 time slot than it was the 6-8am time slot. Bell is a Quebec based company and we all know how well Quebecers are (NOT) tuned into the west !!!
