LE was a very legit NHL player when Benning signed him.  At the time, our fan base (me too) felt we had won the lottery because lots of teams wanted LE when he became a UFA.  There was no reason to think otherwise.  LE had a great season the year before and he had shown good chemistry with the Sedins in international tournaments.  Needless, to say, it didn't work out.

That international experience is a bit exaggerated.  They played at most 4 games together for Sweden before the signing.  Eriksson was a late addition due to injury at the 2010 Olympics and they were not listed as a line.  Henrik missed the 2014 Olympics.  Leaves the 2013 Worlds where the Sedins arrived late and only played 4 games.

Juolevi's part of the solution going forward, he's actually looked really good while playing under questionable D coach. Can only imagine he'll get better as time goes on, and look better playing for better coaching staff. Sitting him at this point is a mistake. 

He looks good out there, no question. 

This might not be the worst season to do poorly. Free up some cap, get a top prospect, get some guys some experience, deal with the expansion draft and Petey/Hughes contracts. You've gotta think we're better next season, hopefully under a new coaching staff. 

cant be much worse  we need to sign another mean 4th liner to protect the young guns  and resign tryamkin so goon and tryamkin and macewen thump anyone who touches the kids

Miller wears his heart on his sleeve and hates losing.  He is very demanding on himself.    Thats the kind of player i would want on my team.

Green pulls Miller out of the top 6 even though he is amongst the league leaders in points 

 

Rousel does nothing other than take selfish dumb penalties yet he never misses a shift 

 

OJ, who is one of the few good news stories gets taken out of the lineup 

 

green literally is worse than Wille

Juolevi is scratched? As soon as he returned to the line up the whole d looked better, especially Myers.

 

Our coaching staff is a joke. Gaudette and Virtanen have already lost all their confidence, why not mess with Juolevi’s too! If he’s not injured I just don’t understand. This is already a shortened season.
