Didn't see a GDT up and the game starts in like 4.5 hours so I figured I'd whip this up real quick:

No idea on who's playing tonight. Someone halp.

Petan's days of impersonating Petey are over. Hope he makes the most of his opportunity now to earn him an early call up for an injury.

 

Lots of bubble players competing tonight against an almost complete NHL roster. This would be a good time to earn a few more days in camp.

Now with everything confirmed (the signings and all) I really think the Canucks look good on paper at least.

This is a great day:  it's Friday, Canucks signed Petey and Hughes, and there's a game on later!

 

So excited for the season to start, and I really believe they have a team that could do some damage (barring injuries)

the Lames are going to be baaadd. thats pretty much their starting roster minus boring Monahan and Hanifin.

Ok, am I seeing this right? Inter squad Leaf game being televised on Sportsnet nationally?

 

So they shutter 1040, a move made my Bell corporate back East, turn it into a comedy station. A few days Rogers hacks and slashes away at our only remaining sports radio station and local programming being replaced by Toronto based talking heads.
