Popular Post RolexSub
I think since we lost the cup to the Bruins, we always had an issue where we are lacking toughness as we see other teams taking advantages of our smaller or star players. I miss those good old days where we had Gino, and Brashear just to name a few players. Since we are under a new management team, who would you give up for and for who and why? Or do we have anyone from our farm team that can play this role? And if so, who? It's sad to see we lost McEwan and Gadjovich in the waiver whom appears to be fighting a lot for their new club. I think Gadjovich has 5 fighting major since he joined the San Jose Sharks. Not sure about you guys, but it is tough watching our team get taken advantage of and only a few players are willing to drop their gloves to protect their teammates. Popular Post King Heffy
Chiasson for Gadjovich please. I'll never forgive Green for the permanent damage he caused this training camp with his nepotism and lack of professionalism. Popular Post MaxVerstappen33
Its not toughness that we lack. The days of having meat heads like Brashear are over. We lack middle weight pests. Ones we had in the past are Cooke, Ruutu, Kesler, Burrows Lappiere, Torres ect. Having some of the best pests was part of our identity 1 1 2

JM_
we lack a consistent net front presence more than a tough guy. If we could add a tough player with skill that would be nice, but we don't need a plug. 1
VancouverHabitant
I wouldn't call our team soft per say. I do wish that we had one tougher forward who doesn't mind dropping the gloves other then JT Miller. I have never liked having a d-man as our tough guy (Guddy, then Schenn) because it's tough to go down to 5 d-men for a long period of time. I remember games where Guddy would instigate a fight, get thrown out in the first period and then we'd play the whole game down a d-man. hammertime
Hmm Gadjo and Zack might be nice. Cuylle would be a prospect I would pursue from the rags. 1
EddieVedder
We do lack toughness. Mack and gadj would be great for our 4th line. The team looks too small up front right now. No to cancer kane. 2

Odd.
There’s a certain guy who’s currently available right now for free I won’t say his name as I’ve been flamed too much for even bringing his name up Would be extremely disappointing if said player decided to sign with the Oilers And we’d have to face him 6-8 times a year But oh well! 1 1

Bure_of_94
I’d say an Austin Watson or Deslauries. Someone who can play and hit and put up 10-15 points on the 4th line. And fight effectively. Probably a 6th and Chiasson would get you Watson, but we don’t have the cap room .
wildcam
We have lacked toughness for years? Signs back when nobody beat daylights out of Marchand 5'10, 185 lbs? Use to love our tough teams Breasher 6'2, 210, toughest guy in league in his day..Gino 6'3, 210 top 5 fighter in his day.. We always had 5 guys that could drop gloves play super gritty.. Fans say team toughness but we don't want Miller, Horvat fighting...We lack toughness for last 8 yrs...We are easy to play against.. Loved Gadjovich 6'2,210 stands up for guys on team. MacEwen 6'3,205 same type of player we give away for nothing.. Both playing on there teams regular?? 1

Gritty, tough, a pest, top line player, sticks up for his teammates, can do it all. But but but he’s a locker room cancer because of his own personal problems… that can be helped with the support group and resource facilities we have here. Now we get to see him play with McDavid and Draisaitl.

I could stand losing MacEwen OR Gadjovich, but it was pretty inexcusable for Green to cut both of those guys especially after we lost Gadjovich. Gadjovich was actually outplaying MacEwen in the preseason and should've made the cut over MacEwen. 3
