Don't get this addition At all. Jack was ready to rock. I say we let Rathbone marinate in the AHL. Gain some confidence, no need to join a Canucks team struggling to make playoffs. 5
Popular Post Devron
We need to get younger and cheaper contracts. Well we just did that 1

Coconuts
It's a roundabout way of doing things but I guess JR wound up getting younger between the two trades Gonna keep an open mind on this one, we've seen players leave Vancouver and thrive elsewhere maybe the opposite will happen He's cheaper and low commitment if nothing else 2

Yeah Boner's there in case Quinn gets injured; only spot he can fill and only player that can fill that spot.
DrJockitch
Cant say I know much about him. Wasn’t enamoured with Hamonic and he is cheaper and fits the age range of our core. Still would probably have preferred keeping the third.
Darius
I think the only thing lost by essentially swapping Hamonic is some toughness. Other than that I think Dermott is more mobile and is better on the other side of centre line .

Hamonic is Hamonic but Dermott can possibly be better with new coaching, is younger and cheaper. At face value this is a win. We are 1.5 mill richer too A RHD man out and a LHD man in. Doesn’t make much sense to me.

How? He's got Hughes and OEL ahead of him. There's no way he moves any higher than third pairing here.

He's absolute trash in his own zone and couldn't crack a lineup filled with AHL quality blueliners. I don't see any indication of him being able to ever be an actual NHLer. 1
Provost
Until I see more moves, the thing that scares me is that maybe they aren’t giving up on this season yet. With Poolman coming back we were good on the right side but needed help on the left side. This could be moves to help for a playoff push :D 1

You say the same thing about every leaf defencemen. You need to watch him play for another team.
