I'd be happy with fair.

Sadly, no such luck.  O'Rourke is not exactly known for conducting himself appropriately; he was part of the open corruption against us in 2011.  No respectable league would look at his record and even consider employing this scumbag.

As much as a must win as there will be in the season.  4 teams aiming for that last playoff spot and we have a chance to get within 2 pts or drop behind 5pts.  Hopefully Lockwood shows well and Burroughs gets in for Hunt.  Dermott/Burroughs 3rd pair could be something and excited to hopefully get a look at that.

Curious to see if there's some magic left in the season and they can squeek in and today would be the beginning of that.

Playoffs or not, they made the season interesting after an abysmal start and showed they aren't a mentally fragile group like we thought.  We're exactly where we thought we would be, a bubble playoff team.  While I don't think we're contenders yet, I don't think we're too far away.   Proud of the team and excited to see the next evolution.

Go Canucks Go!

Wonder who's reffing?

It won't matter because the refs are totally unbiased, right?......................

Let's see:

Dallas:- large American market that the NHL want to expand. Fanbase is only loyal as long as there is success. Several companies competing for sporting broadcasting rights.

Vancouver:- large Canadian city with a dedicated fan base who will continue to watch regardlesss of results. No other Canadian cities are large enough for expansion. CBC.

My guess is that the refs wiill be studying their instructions from head office at this very moment.

Losing this game, especially in regulation, would be the nail in the coffin of our playoffs most likely. Balls to the wall men.
