For a while last season it first started off with James Cybulski and then they rotated in a few people like Chris Faber from Canucks Army and another guy who does BCHL games but once Astle came into the mix, he changed it all for the broadcast. Should Shorthouse or Batchelor ever decide to move on from calling Canuck games, Astle would make a fantastic play by play commentator. Colliton has been adamant that he's alternating the two goalies Both played so well down the stretch, wonder if they want to reward Martin due to his seniority in the AHL but also reward Silovs for playing such a pivotal role between November to February for the team. But that is not why he was sent down. He was sent down because he wasn't playing well and the decision was that he needed more development.
