Would you sit Rathbone to play Burroughs Higgy? The profiles say Rathbone is 3 pounds lighter than Hughes. He looks bigger. Elite Prospects has him at 190 pounds. I find this kind of discrepancy frustrating. I like Burroughs a lot and wouldn't mind seeing him platooned with Rathbone based on opposition. That said IMHO Rathbone has far more to show us and he has to have games to do that. I thought he had a good game in Ottawa.

Burroughs with Myers. It has been there from the start. Myers can be more of the roamer that he wants to be and Burroughs back him up. That frees OEL and Bear, though I think we can find a better partner that allows him to roam. Then QH and Schenn.

Then, the team needs to hit. They play better when they are grinding. Schenn, Myers, Burroughs even OEL plus the forwards and we will grind out more wins

I'm starting to like Studnicka more and more now... he shows so much speed and grit... basically a bigger, faster Lazar!! We finally have a real effective 4th line that plays a heavy game!!

What a novel idea. :)

Studnicka was a fantastic pick up. His speed has caused so many problems to the other team and he plays a rambunctious game, great for the bottom 6.

We want that German kid. :)

Alex Formenton still hasn’t been signed, would love to grab him somehow but I think he’s asking for way too much

Unless a top 6 player is excellent defensively, (Pete + Mik +Bo for f/os), I don't want to see them on the PK.

Sadly, Podz has lost his confidence.  Assigning him to the PK might give him something to focus on.  Give

his something he can take pride in.  He certainly has the speed, physicality and acumen to do the job.  It

would also encourage him to utilize the physical aspect of his game.

I think a goal or two might turn Podz around even if it's an empty net goal.

So... If the Canucks go on a 3 game win steak (beat Mtl and TO) , or go something like 3-1-1 on this road trip, are we back on the bandwagon?

This is what I personally think.

Root for the team and the players to do their best and hope they outperform their contracts. If everyone is playing well, it should be easier to trade someone from the group for a RHD?

In order of ppl to ship out if the right opportunity came along

1) Boeser

2) Myers (only if a D is coming back)

3) Miller

4) Pearson

4) OEL (only if a D is coming back)

5) Garland

6) Horvat (if a massive overpayment happens)

7) Kuz

8) Mikheyev

If we are free falling out of the playoffs...

Trade everyone on that list and include a few more like Schenn

What's crazy to me is that I feel like this season, we are suffering from the same issues as last year. 60 percent pk??? Like how does that happen?

We're spotting a goal or 2 every game because of special teams.

I wonder what our record would look like if we had a decent pk like 80 percent...

Who is running the PK?

Is Jake Livingstone going pro after this year, or is he completing University?

It would be nice to have a big, BC RHD.

BTW he has 10 points in 10 games so far this season.

Would be nice for a tryout and have play in the minors for a year or two.

No stipulation on an OEL trade. If any team is willing to take his contract, you make that trade happen yesterday.
