Popular Post OldFaithfulCap
Media TV: Sportsnet Pacific, CBC (HNIC) Radio: Sportsnet 650 Overview In financial circles taking a bath refers to an incoming CEO taking over their company and running it into the ground as they can blame the previous leadership for issues and will automatically look better when they get back to normal. I'm not quite sure if that's the intent for the Tocchet hire but it's a lovely bath in any case and making us clean and ready for a high draft position - cue bedard as an angel appearing. The flyers played themselves out of a good tank position in January but have not been good lately, winning just 1 out of their last 5 and scoring less than 3 goals in all games but one. They are near the bottom of the league in scoring with Torts preaching defence but they are middle of the pack in both gaa and pk. Konecky broke a 13-game goal-less streak in his last game but he still leads the team with 26 with everyone else under 20 goals. For the Canucks, Thatcher Demko was expected to back-up tonight but with an alleged setback in training on Thursday it seems likely we will see Delia and Silovs. Silovs will start against a much easier opponent than the Rangers tonight with Delia backing up. February has been a tougher month for scoring with Pettersson (6G,4A) being the leader over the 6 games. Garland (2G,3A), Hughes (0G,6A), Miller (1G,4A), Boeser (1G,4A), Kuz (2G,2A) and Beau (2G,2A) have been the others. Wolanin has been called up from the AHL where he is the top scoring dman and he is expected to play tonight taking OEL's spot. While the tank must roll on, tonight is a dangerous shot at an easier win and ending a 3-game losing streak for Vancouver. MATCH-UP INFO Tonight marks the second and final game between the Canucks and Flyers this season: Oct. 15 (3-2 L @ PHI) and Feb. 18 (home). Vancouver is 37-74-13-4 all-time against Philadelphia, including a 15-33-12-2 record at home. The Canucks are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games against the Flyers, including 2-3-0 in their last five. Anthony Beauvillier leads all active Canucks skaters in career points against Philadelphia with 17 (10-7-17 in 25 GP). Brock Boeser has eight points (6-2-8) in eight career games against the Flyers. Elias Pettersson has four points (1-3-4) in seven career games against the Flyers. Conor Garland has three points (2-1-3) in five career games against the Flyers. J.T. Miller leads the team in career games played against Philadelphia with 27 (9-7-16 in those games). Collin Delia has yet to face Philadelphia in his career. Arturs Silovs has yet to face Philadelphia in his career. QUICK NUMBERS Elias Pettersson has 14 points (7-7-14) in his last 11 games. Quinn Hughes has eight points (1-7-8) in his last seven games. Brock Boeser has seven points (1-6-7) in his last seven games. J.T. Miller has nine points (2-7-9) in his last 10 games. Conor Garland has eight points (3-5-8) in his last 10 games. Popular Post Alflives
Guaranteed win tonight! The tank loses a track this game. Gets stuck in the mud. And sinks. We are going on a winning streak! 1 1 1 2

Popular Post Slegr
I’m at tonight’s game - woot woot! And I won’t mind for either a win or loss, so it’s a win-win. Keep an eye out for me. I’ll be the fan with the Petey jersey on. You know, because there aren’t many of those at Canucks games, right? 1 3
combover
Maybe torts and Toc will fight been a while since we had a good coach fight. if I was going to the game I’d bring a large TRADE MILLER sign. Gawdzukes
Beat those Gritty Flyers ... nah don't do that. Lots of tank action and bottom feeders heating up for upsets. Islanders now in 17th which is good. Need them to keep their false sense of belief in making the playoffs before they falter down to the 15th pick. There will be good players all through the top 20 but I feel after the top 15 is where the it gets sketchy. 1

The other night SJS were 20 seconds away from adding at least 1 point and then lose. Torts will have his boys ready to go. Tank on!
KirkSave
Hoping Trouba and Kadri drop the mitts but Kadri is a coward. Oops wrong thread. Go Canucks. Play hard and lose please. "It's about the process."
