Time to take a break from the back and forth and make myself some brunch. A nice omelette and some curling.

Bought some resistance bands for work. Last experience I had was with Cher resistance bands. One snapped and nearly took my eye out. This time I bought cheap, made in China clearance bands. I live dangerously.

So I got a chance to tell JT "if you're traded, I go too". He said "I'll let my agent know". Great person, great sense of humour. Had a fantastic day yesterday! (Met Petey too!)

Always wanted to dress to the 9's(us 2 like Newman/Redford..The Sting) & treat my Old Man, where we'd bet lavishly & build a great memory. I'm not even one who gambles..but man did he LOVE Hastings(& horses)!
Reality is we often feuded, & ran headlong into working cl poverty! Every extra dime, the poor guy prob gambled & lost!
Fiction IS more interesting, so this occurred plenty times in my mind's eye...

Rather be at Hastings Park. Being at track level, with the horses rounding the last turn at full gallop. Regardless who I put money on. The sound of those thundering hoofbeats is a symphony from nature. Even the last place horse I admire for giving it all they've got. Love horses. Still gives me chills.

Hi Bri!!! I was lying down and didn't have my phone. I didn't really care for him at first but he's grown on me. Seems like a decent guy...but time will tell. As it narrows down it becomes more obvious. I like Katie and Gabi. There aren't any that I don't care for this time. That WAS intense....Greer ahhhhh! I thought he was a little harsh about her comment. She was just trying to make HIM feel better and be relatable.
Pink and green are awesome together....very spring flower-like.

if they don't address the defense we'll continue to fall. imo our forwards can get the job done but they all have to come back and bolster this mistake prone defense. they will be in tough on this road trip. could wolanin get the call up? after hughes, imo, we have mostlt bottom pairing defensemen. both bear and schenn are playing okay but are really playing higher in the line-up then they should be. gcg.

@Ghostsof1915 Me too....I think it'll be a bit glaring.
@smithers joe I agree, 100%. D is our main problem and that needs fixing. We're scoring goals now..that wasn't always the case. I prefer high scoring games but, really, not at the expense of winning. Have to really address the holes on d.

Damn, fire in one of the sanctuaries last night...some of the buns from Rabbitats were there, but in the back so unharmed. Lost many critters though. If ever there was a time to help out/donate, please do so. They're trying to get a new (more permanent) home. (Got called out on a rescue last night...guy dragging his broken leg behind him). My heart aches when I see discarded animals in distress out there. I can't turn a blind eye.)

Many of their buns are actually ones that I, personally, have rescued. 7 babies (took me 7 days) on Alderbridge Road when a new development went in and they were trapped in the concrete worksite. One in the snow at the end of 3 Road when they were upgrading the dike. One in the Steveston High school demo site...in a pile of broken glass and debris. One out front of my complex. Etc. They are SO in need of extra help...anyone who wants to volunteer can also get involved. It's super rewarding (spiritually). Even if heartbreaking at times.

thats not the point Phil. you have to take the good with the bad. there are alot of employers that not only mistreat their employers they also don't help the community.
This is the single largest advertisement supporting mental health awareness in canada ever. and id also like to point out that there was a team that put this initiative together, that likely has no bearings on how their fellow employees are treated. lets not spoils this teams hard work to point out that upper management needs improvement

I'll be there as well. Personally I am shifting my thinking. I had great expectations going into this year that have lead to great disappointment.
I am now accepting the year as a write off and I've decided that I'm going to enjoy the rest of it. A win is always fun. A loss is Bedard baby steps. Lol. Win-Win.

2023 can take a flying leap. Today's event? Chemical burn on my right hand, day spent at urgent care. All good now, but holy hell, this year sucks already.

@smithers joe No, that stuff's for Calgarians. They were doing some reno's at work and the contractors didn't put down drop-sheets...so drywall dust all over my desk. Used industrial strength wipes to clean it up and there may have been a reaction of some sort (hydrogen peroxide). Also had just used hand sanitizer.
Note to self: next time find/wear some gloves. We threw the wipes out...they were expired anyhow.

@-DLC-I was worried about #3. I didn't think I did something wrong to warrant a ban.
If the world is exploding I don't think we'd worry about #2.

@Ghostsof1915 I agree. I thought that...it would be sad if it just dissolved and none of us could find each other. I went to Twitter and looked there.
We really do need a back up. Or meeting place of some sort. Will be a sad day when this place is gone.

Do any of you have an air fryer? If so, do you have any tips to share (I just bought a Ninja - haven't used it yet).

@TNucks1 I am not sure of the details, but have seen several articles. Some of the air fryers even make a note to unplug them in their documentation.
