Monty
To be honest, I don't even know how I feel about Heatley anymore. The guy could have signed in Pittsburgh and still would be a question mark alongside Crosby or Malkin.
Warhippy
Good signing solid depth he could put up 40 points for a million, hell he could break out as well and be a 30-30 candidate.

banana republic
Man this deal could be really solid like 40-50points of be a good 3rd liner with 25-30points. If he has any self respect he would be working hard this summer to redeem his name. One thing is for sure he will not work with kesler. Low risk/ high reward deal that the ducks are looking for. coryberg
Probably one of the most low risk high reward moves the Ducks could have made. No doubt. If he stinks you can send him to the AHL and only be stuck with a 100k cap hit.
Lockhart
I don't know what his problem is.... is it lack of motivation or injuries? Regardless I would have taken him on the Canucks if we didnt have to leave space for youth.

RogerEpic5
"Kesler, pass the fracking puck.. how the the hell am I supposed get 40-50 points with you ball hogging," screamed Heatley. "Sorry Heatley, I'm just to selfish and I suck at passing," replied Kesler.
oldnews
Probably one of the most low risk high reward moves the Ducks could have made. The risk is what he does when the other team has the puck. Has been horrible forever, and continues to be. http://www.behindthenet.ca/nhl_statistics.php?ds=30&s=29&f1=2013_s&f2=5v5&f5=MIN&c=0+1+3+5+4+6+7+8+13+14+29+30+32+33+34+45+46+63+67 Of note, the other few players with such negative possession numbers are in the 35% offensive zone start range - Heatley 54% against bottom range quality of competition. Heatley is a liability.
Spoosh
Heatley will will still be a threat every now and then consistency isn't his strong side anymore, but he can on some nights be the difference. Very easy signing to like. No real risk on this one. If it doesn't pan out there, he'll probably be moved for a low pick or something.

Pears
Heatley - Getzlaf - Perry Silfverberg - Kesler - DSP Etem - Cogliano - Palmieri Beleskey - Thompson - Maroon Scary, scary forward group if Heatley refinds his game.
CanuckinEdm
I always thought that Heatley would do good with the Sedins. He may be slow but he can rip the puck as long as you can set him up.
