Demko has totally blown his first two chances to show what he can do. Or maybe he has shown what he can do. Either way it is very aggravating. Need to play the better players more. Petey and Horvat's line like 2/3 the game. Roussel does nothing so he needs to come out. Just put in Mac and hope Boeser returns soon. Bottom 6 shouldn't get much more than 1/3 of the game accumulated. It's clear we need to rely on our better players more. Most of the bottom 6 is is a void of offense and are incapable of controlling play consistently. Either put Virtanen or Gaud with Bo and hope you can find an okay line with the other on the 3rd line till Boeser is back. It's fine to have defensive forwards but this team has too many that are void of any offense in the bottom 6. Benning has a summer ahead of him unloading the considerable dead wood this team still employs.
