Are teams really getting rewarded for competing when they simply failed down the stretch? Over the last 20 games, Arizona was probably the best of all 15 teams that were part of the lottery, yet they were bumped out of the top 3. 

Let's just end the drama and re-sign Hammer.

It's five minutes of him making 5 star saves. It's kind of masochistic tbh...

Vanek was fantastic for us, from his production and what he brought off the ice to the return we got in Jokinen and Motte. Jokinen wasn't kept of course but he had a respectable showing here. And Motte's a gamer of course.

What impressed me the most about Vanek when he was here was how good his hockey IQ is. Not surpised he had some pretty good chemistry with Boeser.

It took him to go from VAN to MTL and now EDM. He needed a wake up call twice. Doubt he'll be the person he is today if he stayed in Vancouver.

Fans loved him here. He loved something else...

im hockey deprived....CDC isn't as entertaining in the offseason.

 we have a ton of cap coming off  in summer not including the vets we could possibly trade at deadline.

vrbata, hamhuis, prust, weber  clears 12 mill

trading higgins or hansen or burrows  could clear another 2.5-7 mill plus the caps going up 3 

so basically we might have up to 22 mill next summer  to sign 4 vets free agents and move up gaunce or shinkaruk or grenier 

Assuming Gillis doesn't re-sign them all for market value lol.
