    Seravelli (on 650) suggests our owner meddles in hockey ops.  I thought our owner is involved in setting club direction, but not actually involved in the specific decisions.

      We're paying more coaches to coach and not coach this season than we're paying Horvat.

      Lafreneire isn't amazing yet, but has already set a career high in assists at just 40 games. He does seem to be improving, even if rather slowly.

      I know there's a lot of hype that comes with being drafted 1OA but he just turned 21 in October, it's waaaaay too early to be writing him off.

      I don’t get it.  If a poster is saying bad stuff (mean, nasty, disgusting, vile, etc) of course get rid of them.  But if we are losing good posters just because their views might appear contrarian to some (so deemed as trolling) that doesn’t seem right.

    Should we, on our Canucks’ Fans’ home board, do away with posts that compliment other teams’ players?  I know it sure sets old Alfer off.  Maybe we can just have hatred for all other teams, their players, and their fans?  It’s 100% Canucks or nothing?

      Getting Risto would be a full blown tank move. I'd hope Allvin can get better for Bo, but considering the track record of his brief tenure, he's probably not going to be able to get anything done and will have Bo's agent looking for a trade partner.

      Devils have cap space and top of the league and tons of salary cap space. It would be huge upgrade for them to upgrade Tatar to JT.

      Nah I’m good. The only acceptable return for Miller would be a defencemen

      Tatar would be the cap coming back. But of course there would be more than just Tatar. 
      Tatar and a good prospect. Moving Miller is to mainly leave cap space for Bo and Kuz and still getting back a prospect like Mercer who can center the 3rd line.

      I don't think in cheering for the Canucks and only the Canucks i hate all the other teams.  Prefer to just not acknowledge their existence.  But i do watch the playoffs pretty Canadianly (cheer for the good Canadian kids playing still)

      I hate certain players/personalities with a passion but I like a lot of other players not on the Canucks. Hey they could be Canucks one day. Another note it is mighty painful watching our boys. Good grief

      I believe that if management and ownership came out and addressed Canucks fans the way Rangers management and ownership addressed Rangers fans there'd be an appetite for a rebuild. I think a lot of fans would embrace it, and I think a lot of those fans would still go watch games if they were being sold on a young, rebuilding product.

      I know I'd go watch that sort of team if we had an actual rebuild as our direction, and I live on the island so it's more of a trek.

      Yup.  You nailed it Jimmy.  It’s all about Demko.  If he’s Double Bubble Boy we are a top 8 team.  Is that good enough though?

      no, its not. I always saw this year as a transition year from all that dead cap and bad pro-scouting from JB to what it has a chance of being.

       

      But if Demko is pooched, dunno that does kind of reset things.

    Watching a lot of Dahlin with the Sabres.  He might be the worst top pick ever.  Slow, and a DUMBO.  Our baby cousin franchise got a LOSER with that pick.

      cap space wise this one's easy, we take back the final year of Zucker. If Zucker is reluctant to waive, maybe he can be convinced if he knows he'll be flipped to a contender at the TDL.
