-AJ-
As I've said in various other threads, hoping for about 3-4 years at $5M per year or so.
Nuxfanabroad
Promise them 10 yrs x 1.5 mill/each, to organize office papers, upon retirement. ...But will papers exist at that time?!
Rink on Renfrew
I've watched the Canucks for the last 20 years. Done well in my life, now I live by the beach and I pay a premium for the scenery I feel, I love the game they bring and I'm looking forward to more Sedinery! shiznak
Short term deals, please. Anything over 5 years would be a disaster for the future of the franchise (prospects).
Chaos Giraffe
The Sedins are the classiest players this franchise has ever known. Give them anything they want (which, knowing them won't be much anyways in terms of fair market value) so that they retire Canucks.
theminister
I've been saying all along that this would get quietly done before the season starts. It will be a straight up deal too. Same money for every year without making it overly long. 4 years $6.5 mil per or something along those lines.

Karlsson`s Flo
Not really. Linden deserved a cup.
Plum
Since they're getting less points that = less money. Guessing 3 years 5.9 million per.
Nicklas Bo Hunter
I could see them doing a deal to win but at the same time making it lesser term so they can end their careers sweeden. Maybe something like 2=3 years 4.8 mil per year each.
Provost
And then we get slammed with the recapture penalty for years. sweet idea.

TheRussianRocket.
Knowing them, they'll take a discount. I don't think they should, but they probably will. Class acts.
chickenman92
Here's how and why I'd re-sign them http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Ian-Esplen/Sedins-close-what-do-you-sign-them-for/164/53796
Boudrias
I honestly hope they are signed for a while, 5 years maybe? maybe 7? heck even if its 3 i can be happy, but longer the better...Naslund got the shaft in his final year here, its a blight on the team's track record, imo, and now that Bure is being recognized, it is one of the last bad marks that could use some finesse moves from the management. I actually hope that all the retired jersey guys are brought in to welcome Bure to the club. THat would be a start. I want to see markus with a smile doing something canucks related. Noseforthenet
One thing we have to be sure of with this is to not overspend on the Sedins. Kesler is about to reach the wheelhouse of his prime, just like the Sedins were. The team is in transition to becoming younger. We can't pay the Sedins any more than we are planning to re-sign Kesler for because if we do, it's possible we will lose him. That could be very very bad for the franchise. Even with Bo Horvat in the pipeline.

babych
This would be perfect. They can easily get 8 million each on the open market. 6.5 for 4 years is very fair for both parties.
