SaintPatrick33
LA has a team full of big physical players. If our defence stays the same, they are going to be in for a world of punishment especially if we trade our only warrior in Juice. Tell me who on our defence will stand in front of the net now?? Sbisa, Edler, Hammer? LOL all soft
Gaudette Celly
This, people here are so confident on him signing with us next year. They are forgetting HE chose the 15 teams he's willing to be traded to and LA is one of them. We're not getting him next year or ever. And we are in for some harsh reality of getting destroyed in the pacific for a while. There is completely nothing to be optimistic about right now. Even IF the off season is not even over yet. :frantic:

Neversummer
Lucic to LA, Hamilton to CAL ... Boston still sticking it to the Canucks. So, Bos is keeping Rat Face ??

IbanezRG
Lucic to LA, Hamilton to CAL ... Boston still sticking it to the Canucks. So, Bos is keeping Rat Face ?? Theyll only trade marchand to the canucks for a 7th supposedly and no where else.
Tom Sestito
People understand the Sbisa Dorsett signings now? I wouldn't mind the Sbisa signing if we dumped Bieksa and gave Sbisa a partner who can cover his mistakes like Zybnek Michalek.

Heretic
LOL just read this: Dan Murphy retweeted Jon Rosen @lakingsinsider 10m10 minutes ago Boston retaining 2.75 million of Lucic's salary.
Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
Boston will probably package their picks for #3 and get Hanifin. So that in 3 years they can do it all over again.Lucic will be a good fit for LA. Bad for us. Cgy will be a beast, then there's McDavid, Lucic in LA, Kes in ANA & possible Bieksa in SJ. Gonna get thrown around next year Hahaha! Are you really afraid of Kevin Bieksa? Anyone can have a renaissance but he will be the goat of San Jose fans if he goes there. Where's Wellwood
If they get the 12th and/or 16th pick too, I'd lol then cry.
5Fivehole0
Isn't ironic that LA paid more for Lucic than Calgary did for Hamilton?
Jaimito
Too bad. But the big teams didn't win this year. Hawks was able to withstand ducks over 7 games and had only 4 d men they can use. Speed and good first outlet passes are key. Nux need better d men to be able to withstand the heavy checking. That's the priority. They have nobody like Keith, doughty, Hedman, etc
LeanBeef
Ok so here are the players with pushback or potentially players who can drive the Canucks and fans nuts with physical (ie. eager, nolan, ferland type players) play. Anaheim: Getzlaf, Perry, Maroon, Kesler, Jackman, Stoner, Ritchie* Calgary: Ferland, Bollig, Engelland, Wolf*, Smith Edmonton: Gazdic, Ference, Aulie, Kessy*, Moroz* LA: Lucic, Nolan, Clifford, Brown, Andreoff San Jose: Brown, Torres, Bieksa?, Dillon Phoenix: Hanzal, Vitale, Crombeen*, McGinn*, Samuelsson* *-if they stay up with the team or get re-signed Here we have Vancouver: Sbisa, Dorsett, Kassian, Kenins, Grenier*, Virtanen*, Bieksa? Gonna be a tough year not just for us but for every other team. Gonna be a physical battle out there.
TimberWolf
After the playoffs I'm not counting Sbisa or Dorsett as any kind of pushback. They let the mini Flames intimidate them.
