Not that he isn't already, but that would make him the steal of the draft.

He could end up #2 behind only McDavid from 2015 draft. He isn't slow but if he gets faster and quicker, then it will happen.

Kinda hard to ignore that Brock seems a little nervous about his back? This interview seems to be taking it a little too lightly.

It really can be difficult to read Brock, his delivery is so chill.

EDIT: Ah it's probably gonna be ok, he's talking about next season and leadership.

I admit this got my blood boiling a bit, but it goes to show how far out to lunch some of the Eastern based media is.  This is the NHL network ranking the 2017-2018 rookies.  At first I thought they would have Brock at 2nd or 3rd.  Then when they kept listing off player after player with no Brock I was astonished at how out to lunch they were.

This was released last week.  They have Brock as the 7th best rookie...lol.....yeah 29 goals scored with a quarter of the season missed playing with average at best players for long stretches...7th....

I understand why they listed the players in the order that they did, that's no slight against Brock.

But is Brock better player than Barzal? Hard to say. We're biased cause we're fans of this franchise and team.

Their games are so different, though. Brock is a sniper, and will only get better as he gains more experience in the league. Barzal isn't necessarily a sniper as much as he is a playmaker. What could have been if Barzal and Brock were together in green and blue. OMG.

I'm not sure many people would say Brock is better than Barzal, but I think you'd have a very hard time putting Brock lower than 3rd or 4th. I'd have him at 2nd just below Barzal personally.

Really good to hear he is going to find a skating coach. He feels he really needs to focus in on that this off season.  Great things to say about the twins, the city, and the future.

Real down to earth young man. He purchased a home 5 minutes from his mom and dad's place on a lake. :) Good for him.

This is who s the Canucks need to hire as a skating coach

I turned it on, fast forwarded few minutes to see that Barzal was #2... #2!!!! Like who was better than Barzal this year? 85 points in 82 games?

So I went back a minute or so and it was McAvoy who was #1... Then, I realized that this show is geared towards Eastern viewers, in particular, the viewers in the New England region.

Don't let it bother you man. It means nothing.

By the way, is that Kevin Weekes? Man he gained a lot of weight.

McAvoy, Barzal, Hischier, Sergachev, Dubois, Keller ahead of Boeser?

I would take Boeser ahead of Keller, probably Sergachev (although I would think about it). I don't think I would argue with the rest.

Boeser was picked ahead of Nolan Patrick FWIW.

Yeah that's fair enough. Dubois and Hischier were #1C so that they could be considered ahead of Boeser (although i don't think so myself). McAvoy was basically the #1D so sure. But is McAvoy ahead of Barzal? Because defence > PPG scoring center?

Not sure how this is even a thing as Serg was drafted the following year...

But Serg's put up impressive offense but it's on a powerhouse, offensive team and in an EXTREMELY sheltered role (and he's looked highly challenged when less sheltered). I'd love to have him too and was hoping we'd trade Tanev for another pick to get him AND OJ but I'd take Boeser before Serg if I had to choose.

So the Jets would've had Laine and Boeser, crazy.  Still Boston could've had Barzal, Boeser and Connor/Debrusk.

Can someone explain?  I don't want to google this lady on my work computer to find out she's a porn star or something.

I'm late to the party but this made me literarily LOL!!!

She might be a bad person, but I totally see where you are coming from. She is hot.

The goalie of the future... if not in the next few weeks then hopefully the next few months! Another failed project!

He probably would be better now with all that girth covering the net.

Seeing that snipe from EP40 yesterday made me wonder if he actually might have a better shot than BB6.  Guess we'll have to wait until the All-star game to find outB)

Man. I just looked up the 2015 draft and can't believe that Boston COULD have had a line of Connor-Barzal-Boeser.

I don't think any of Zboril, DeBrusk, or Senyshyn will come remotely close to making that draft not sting like hell for the fans...
