Hoosierdaddy
Not to be insensitive but this is terrible for Hammer and the Canucks. Most believed he'd bring a nice return at the trade deadline. Bubble wrap Vrbata immediately.

SaintPatrick33
That was a vicious shot he took...lucky he was wearing a visor. What is it with wierd injuries with this club, just a wierd slo motion play in general...Malhotra, hamhuis, salo

I'm more concerned about the injured player than the draft pick. I would imagine Benning is on the phone right now negotiating with Bergevin re: Vrbata. Darius
Poor guy - I hope he recovers soon, forget about the game we are talking about a bad injury that could have long term effects. With him out of the lineup- for the long term- makes that hole in D even bigger now that they will expect Weber to fill in.
aGENT
That ought to be a good 6-8 weeks minimum....*sigh* Get well Hammer.

I would think he would be back before trade deadline sonething like this won't affect his value he's a proven top 4 d its not like he suffered a knee or groin injury

Guest
Regardless of his early season struggles and all the talk about moving him for a pick, he's a Canuck and has done a lot for our team. Wishing him nothing but the best
