There is blog by Ben Hutton from the world championship at the Canucks site http://canucks.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=881585&navid=DL|VAN|home , interesting read ))) Some quotes:

"I talked to Dan Hamhuis about it when I first got the call. He was really excited for me and told me some tips, like what to pack and what not to pack and how much to pack – he told me a lot about packing! He told me I’ll have a great time and that everything would be first class and he wasn’t lying.

We’ve been here almost a week now and for someone who had never even been overseas before, it’s quite an experience. We’ve done some sightseeing and gotten to know each other, now our focus is solely on winning.

It’s been a crazy year and it’s about to get a lot crazier!

I’ll check in when I can – blogging is exhausting, I need a nap.

Ben"

Going to Worlds is a great step for Hutton - Ray Ferraro.

Ray Ferraro is a very wise man and an excellent contributor to society, I mean where o where would we be without his sierrasil commercials??

Whenever he speaks, he enriches all of our lives

Errrrr more like a #3

He has the ability to be a top pairing defenseman in the mold of TJ Brodie yes.

He'll need an elite defenseman to play with for that to happen though.

Brodie is a good 3 on a contender

Never said on a contender, just top pairing.

It's hard to argue Calgary doesn't have one of the better D's in the league though. If a team has really good depth they don't need to have a Keith and Seabrook or Weber and Josi on the top pair.

Played a whopping 3:57 in the game against USA.  7th on the depth chart to start?

He was on the PP for a shift. He was on the ice when Canada scored. Don't know if he played in the 2nd and definitely not in the 3rd. Really impressed with Murray #27. Just got stronger and stronger thru the game.

There are not many d-cores good enough to relegate TJ Brodie to #3, outside of teams like Nashville, Chicago, and maybe St. Louis.
