How many of us kept predicting that the team's play would be significantly different (better) this year, and not simply negatively because of the departure of the Sedins but faster and more aggressive?  No, the #muhhunnerdpointz gang, which included nearly all the media, decreed that the team wouldn't be able to score and be dead last overall. 

 

Wow, so those fast, driven, gritty, character UFAs we signed actually have some sort of value and are setting the example, too?  But the numberz, muh spreadsheetz, muh basic math... if the standard observing fan can figure this stuff out, how do the supposedly knowledgeable and insightful expertz in the media not?  Never saw it coming, and you still can't figure it out, IMAC?  So sad to say, but one of the few who did foresee at least the possibility was... Tony Gallagher.

Pavel Bure was the last time we got any respect from the eastern media...now with EP that has changed overnight...but our own clowns can't seem to grasp what they are looking at every day.

It seems they think every team has a Hobey Baker winner who can't crack the lineup...we have some serious depth now...hopefully they realize that soon....
