Lowe has been effectively controlling that franchise for over a decade and with Katz battling for his life he has given Lowe complete control of hockey ops outside of the presidential and general manager position. Everything flows through him. I cannot entirely say that Chia pet was the issue in edmonton nor will I give him any credit for what he did because the team was bloody awful. But a lot of very intelligent hockey minds have gone through Edmonton over the last decade with zero success in the last near 15 years. If he was to be brought in as any kind of advisor without any actual power, that's fine. Taylor Hall Trade? Talented young star for a #3 D man even..-- Taylor Hall trade should of brought them 3-4 players back..Stop there..
