I think that’s why they brought Ferland in, to bad he’s injured could of used him this game

Because they knew they could. That was one of the major bonuses about having Gudbranson. When he was on his game, other teams were very cautious entering the zone. 
 

When he was paired with Pouliot? Gord help them.

Except for the underlying metrics :)

 

We still have a long way to go, especially with 5 on 5 plays and puck possession department. Thought we've improved our plays on both ends of the ice a lot over the past month, teams like VGK and STL play with the puck a whole lot more than without. I believe that's what separates true cup contenders from playoff guests.
