You watching the same game? They have yet to get a play set up in the offensive zone, it’s scrappy, they are struggling to make zone entries and when they do it’s a shot from the perimeter with no one at the net again

Yup watching the same game.  Forwards are driving more of the play around the goalie.  Last game the d men had all the shots from the perimeter.

It must be. Hughes seems to be unsure at times because of lack of time and space he used to have in the regular season. He'll find a way just like Petey -- hopefully sooner than later.

Petey was pretty good on the PP and that period. He was a primary part of 3 golden chances and made a sick defensive play that lead to another chance. If he keeps playing like he did that period he'll pot one.

Hughes need to be better for us to win though. As tough as that is to say. He is just that important.

We score first, can’t get number 2, get 3 power plays and then allow a short handed goal after old man Sutter gets schooled

not looking promising is it ?

oh and Stalock is playing like a vezina candidate

Nah he’s not playing amazing, we are not creating grade a chances against him

Canucks win during regular season by outworking other teams when have off nites ....doesn't happen in playoffs.

Or when Markstrom completely outplays other goalie.

This has been a complete mismatch vs a very middle of the road team.

5 periods left for GMDumbo ?

or a playoff experienced core against a playoff inexperienced core.

We need this kid.  You add a kid like this to our core and you can say hello to multiple stanley cups. It's like adding Kane to Toews.  Or adding Malkin to Crosby.

If Canucks lose we wont get him. Canucks luck

The core on that team has collected more hardware than the Canucks could even dream of. Let's not kid ourselves, this team would be lucky to be 1-1 with the Hawks.

2015 called they want their relevance back.

But why did we score ZERO goals? Because we were chasing the game for 55 minutes, resulting in taking penalties

and not drawing any (the reffing and bench minor didn't help but wasn't the problem). The first goal has always a

huge impact on the game and how it unfolds. Who is chasing and who is getting more and more comfortable.

And especially a soft goal like that will take out all your confidence that you just build over the first minutes and the

Ferland fight.

He doesn't need to get shutouts, let's say he needs to make the saves at the right time.

I'm not talking about last game bud. 90% of people are complaining, including you, but it's a 1-1 game!

I'm a little astounded people are hating on our MVP of the year. We literally wouldn't be playing bubble hockey if we didn't have him. He easily stole 10 points for us this year.
