Another example was Asst Capt. Daniel Sedin getting a 10 minute misconduct after taking the high road & trying to draw a penalty - while the ref watched the “Rat” Marchand give him a few pops. Sedin embarassed this official into finally making the call he didn’t want to make, instead of fighting and going off the ice with the “Rat” which was that Bruiser’s goal.  The “Rat” got 2 min. but Dank got a over-kill 10-minute misconduct not for, gooning or doing anything egregiously dangerous or reckless,...but for being the truth-speaking pacifist respecting the rules of the game.
 

Respecting the rules of the game,...didn’t pay-off in that situation - either. Refs shouldn’t decide  outcomes of games..,,yet they do. Auger-gate was another clear example.
