That's gotta hurt. Claw back to tie it up, only to lose in the last two minutes.

Ya but they scored on 2 or 3 pp’s? Two of em

were over the glass Fluke delay of game calls. The Finns played a smart patient game but really didn’t deserve the game imho. To me it felt like USA has the better chances while the Finns tried to trap, and almost pulled it off.

Who you guys like in the loser's championship between Finland and Russia?

I think Finnish players looked p*ssed after that game with the US.  As in.....WE should have /could have won!

Russian players looked dejected, with Pods the Captain openly weeping.

So I think Russia is the most likely to be the team that suffers the the same affliction that Canadian teams have in the past.  That the gold is the only medal worth fighting for.  Finns on the other hand, look determined to get SOMETHING to take back to Finland with them.

I predict Finland  4- 2

Finland for sure.

Russia always seem to roll over in bronze medal games. It’s first or nothing for them.

Finland on the other hand would likely see wing bronze as an accomplishment.

Spot on.

Fins always find a way to medal.

Russia has a Ricky Bobby outlook, but...

Let's Go Podkolzin

Edit: mind you, Finland always medalling refers to the Olympics or world championships. They're all about gold at the wjs
