That's weird, illness not injury, and too long to be Covid ... unless he needs time to get back into shape after self isolating.

Some people are experiencing long term issues with Covid. Low energy levels, easily winded etc for months after getting 'better'.

Yeah, I've heard of that. I was thinking more along the lines of if he tested positive today he should have still been in line for a season start. That would put him around Jan 12-13.

I'm guessing he already had it.

Here's hoping JB waives somebody and then signs Hamonic to a cheap/1yr contract.  Nucks have too many Fs and that's not even counting the possibility of a rookie or 2 staying with the team.  Fingers Xed!

Yep, hamonic makes our D good enough to make up for losing markstrom if demko isnt quite ready to be a superstar yet

Once upon a time there was an NHL team called the Florida Panthers. The rats came in droves to celebrate the goals. What a might year it was.

But soon the rats were banished and off the people went in search of something better.

There's plenty of golf courses in Florida.

Sucks for the Leafs to play 2 games on the same day. At least it is in their own building.

Sorry, I had to do it as a former SDSS grad.
