Coronavirus outbreak

We were at our son's place yesterday after picking up our grand kids after school. Fraser Health contacted him and told him our grand daughter was to isolate as a playmate of hers had tested positive. Her playmates father as well. FH told our son that she was the only one in the family that needed to isolate, however to be cautious, all are staying home until Sunday when they will ask for a test. We're going to lay low over the weekend as it will be one week since we first were in contact with our grand daughter.

I have an ultra sound appointment on Monday which makes it one week since our first contact, so I called their offices this morning to check if my appointment will be carried through. After speaking with her supervisor, I'm ok to have this procedure taken care of. Unless of course I begin to show anything.

Will this ever end?

Are you trying to imply that vaccine passports are new or that vaccination status has never been a requirement for a job? Or booster shots? or that there is going to be a constant booster every 6 months?

we don't know if you're a liar or not but it is fantastical that you happen to have this anecdotal story that is extremely rare and completely backs up your opinion. Your story needs context. If what you say is true there must be something to show that backs it up. Even just a news article would do. Also why did they refuse? If you can't do any of that then yeah, you're probably a liar.

Big pharma did it. Maybe the bigliest.

Yeah, nobody is being affected with heart issues from the Vax. https://www.westernjournal.com/sweden-suspends-moderna-shot-indefinitely-vaxxed-patients-develop-crippling-heart-condition/

The Twitter feed in this article points directly to the Ontario provincial numbers from their website. And an article from Bloomberg and studies directly from Harvard. Keep your head in the sand.

Point out where anybody even implied that nobody was being affected by it?

Also Sweden has resumed the use of Moderna for most people but thank you for showing how careful we are being with these vaccines that even when the slightest thing happens we are quick to check into it.  And the Harvard study wasn't peer reviewed and once it was looked into was shown to be less than...ethical.

Want me to post actual studies from Harvard and other places that show the rarity of heart issues from the covid vaccines? I can post peer reviewed ones and everything.

Keep your head up your... well...we all know where you keep it.

Your victim complex is outstanding. Finland and sweden both resumed the use of Moderna. Nobody said that myocarditis wasn't a side effect of the vaccine  but as I implied earlier I will now just flat out call you a lying liarton liar and say that your story was BS. Dumb or corrupt is a not a great choice of people to be.

"Tye risk of being affected is very small"

Who ever said there weren't complications?  Every vaccine has them and considering billions of doses have been administered, the number of adverse reactions is insanely small

Interesting the New York Times and London (UK Times) are one of the most factual.

It sickens me to know the Rupert Murdoch owns the the UK Times.

As with everything, it has to be taken with a grain of salt, but mbfc is pretty good

Indoor mask mandate extended:

British Columbia’s provincial health officer has extended the mask mandate that requires masks be worn in all indoor public spaces throughout B.C.

The previous order, which was set to expire on Oct. 31, 2021, has been extended to continue to slow the transmission of COVID-19.

“The requirement to wear masks in indoor public spaces is being extended during this time of higher transmission of COVID-19 in communities,” said Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s provincial health officer. “This important layer of protection will help make all of us safer, along with practising hand hygiene regularly, staying away if sick and, most importantly, getting fully vaccinated.”

Masks are required in all public indoor settings for all people five and older, regardless of vaccination status. These settings include:

  • malls, shopping centres, coffee shops and retail and grocery stores;
  • liquor and drug stores;
  • airports, city halls, libraries, community and recreation centres;
  • restaurants, pubs and bars (unless seated);
  • on public transportation, in a taxi or ride-sharing vehicle;
  • areas of office buildings where services to the public are provided;
  • common areas of sport and fitness centres when not engaged in physical activity;
  • common areas of post-secondary institutions and non-profit organizations; and
  • inside schools for all K-12 staff, visitors and students.

“Throughout this pandemic, we have all been taking steps to keep our communities safe, and we must continue to do so,” said Adrian Dix, Minister of Health. “Getting vaccinated and wearing a mask are important steps we can all take to stay healthy, protect our health-care system, support health-care workers and support one another.”

Masks may be removed temporarily in indoor public places:

  • to identify the individual wearing the mask;
  • to consume food or beverage at a location designated for this purpose;
  • while participating in a sport or fitness activity in a sport facility;
  • or while receiving a personal or health service that requires the mask to be removed.

People who cannot wear a mask or who cannot put on or remove a mask without the assistance of others are exempt. A person may not be able to wear a mask for a psychological, behavioural or health condition or due to a physical, cognitive or mental impairment.

Northern Health and Interior Health combined have close to the same number of positive cases as Fraser Health, which has probably double the population. That alone is alarming enough.
