Honestly at this point it doesn't matter who's in or who's out, results are what matter, and that's on the coach to get the best out of his players from the start of the game to the finish. Watching last game it definitely didn't look like he was getting the best out of his players there was no drive in the players, it almost reminded me of the Leafs a year and a half ago when they sent a message to upper management and stopped playing for Babcock.

Someone some grab Marner and just start feeding him like this.

I assume that's a joke. We don't need to attack players and give TO a 5 minute pp. Hit him hard, cleanly, and make his night miserable. But come on, don't jump the guy.

He was doing a lot of little things very well from a defensive standpoint.   He’s not named “little things” Loui for nothing.   If people can ignore the fact that he’s grossly overpaid, they’ll realize that he’s easily one of our best defensive players.

Even at league minimum, he's not even good enough for the AHL.  He''s a slower, lazier Megna, and no one in their right mind thought that allowing that piece of garbage to set foot on the ice for us was acceptable.  Eriksson is simply not welcome in the lineup and it's our duty as fans to do our best to drive him out of town.

Stalberg was acting like a dou****** on that shift.  He deserved everything he received from Bieksa.

Watch loui is going to dominate have a career break out year then turn around and refuse to play for us

you heard it here first

Refusing to play for us would be perfect because then he could be suspended without pay and we would stop wasting money on preventing him from starving to death.

I'm sure there would be a line up of fans who would love to drive him out of town!

"Get rid of money" isn't a one sided deal though.   Someone has to "take" what you want to "give".  If we don't want players what makes them attractive to other teams?

How do you do "more investigating" into Ferland?  Bottom line is it took him fighting to get us to where we are...he tried.  We needed what he potentially was going to bring.  Concussions aren't all the same OR predictable.  Sven too.

Some of what you're saying - sure.  But it's also easier to use hindsight in a current situation that really doesn't offer a lot of that.

I just feel like the really good general managers find a way to do it. The reality is we should have never had that much money tied up in our bottom six but the organization does so what do they do about it? There really is nothing. I just think the ownership has every right to find a new GM at this point. If they are more involved then they should be then that is a really big issue. They should have no say in how trades and signings are made. I feel like they are too involved but I don't know if that is true or not, it just feels that way. If they aren't then How much more time does Benning deserve? Other than drafting and a couple of good trades over 7 years, he really shouldn't be given any more time. When General managers know they are in the hot seat they usually make desperate attempts to save their jobs. Look at Edmontons last gm.

Sure, I wasn't really commenting on Juice/Stalberg. I said having someone grab Marner and start throwing bombs shouldn't be part of the game.

And my bad for saying bad fan take.  Even if I strongly disagree I don't need to be like that

I agree, you shouldn't just grab somebody and start pounding. But Simmonds taking a cheap shot at Hughes isn't cool either. Not saying intentionally go after Marner or anyone, but if you're going to go after our best players, it works the same way.

Nylander's an easier target.  Pretty easy to bully a coward who's scared of the puck.
