Kind of crazy to think that Honey Badger is only 34 years old (almost 35). He's almost the same age as Edler and is younger than Eriksson and Beagle. He could probably still slot into our lineup.

i thought he could of played for a few more years, but maybe was tired of moving around and said F it

I honestly saw him smile as they engaged....trying to grab a screen shot of it.

He's just having fun out there.

I like Big Zs' energy when he is on the ice...

Hansen getting his Bieksa shot, as a TV personality, hope he becomes a mainstay like Bieksa and personally, I like the ex players more than the other commentators....

Yeah for sure, I agree especially if Jayce H doesn’t come in and steal that spot for next season might be a cheaper option.

I'd like to see Jayce, hopefully we're able to get him in and see what he's got at some point

But yeah, I'm certainly open to bringing Sutter back at a more reasonable number

except on these boards.

Seems that way a lot of the time

100%.  I don't know why Sutter gets so much abuse on this forum.  When he's healthy he almost always contributes in some way or another.  It's like people think that he's not a good player because he has been injured a lot.  I think that our team plays better with Sutter at 3C than Gaudette.

Anyway, we've got two more periods to take care of.  Go Canucks Go!

Sutter's got the game I think some Nucks fans would like Gaudette to have, obviously there's quite an age gap but they're definitely different players

It's unfortunate he's been hurt so much as a Canuck, some of it is likely related to how he's deployed, but yeah he's usually contributing one way or another in the lineup

And def, looking good so far

He should try coaching afterwards...

Wouldn't surprise me, that seems to run in the family too

Considering the team is shedding money this summer, I wonder if he would be interested in playing a year or two to stablize a younger bottom six.

Green sure knows how to reward guys that stick up for his team mates.  1:04 of ice time for Big fella.

did he get injured or is green just a POS.

And that's only because they had an offensive zone shift lol.

Green is an idiot.

The ex players are a lot more entertaining to watch. More stories, funnier jokes, actual rivalries. Just like bieksa saying all that stuff about playing with the flames

They have a reputation to protect not to create.
