Presumably Benning has reduced the taxi squad (Brisebois loaned to Laval) to just 4 + 1 to keep room for Bailey when he comes off IR.  Can't  be long now, and will be before Motte, who is still listed as LTIR

there where situations where Nashville could of had of had recapture penalty of 24 million for one season or 12 million per for three seasons depending on when he retired, but the league changed a rule meaning they won't get hit hard and have a option lowering the amount to a equal number of years. so lets say he retired a season early based on the old rule Nashville would of had 24 million penalty for one season but know that going to be spread out. Complete BS, they went back and penaltized the Canucks but they wont go back and fix it to it would be equal payments

They did change it, but only so the yearly penalty couldn't exceed the AAV, but still, $7.85m of dead cap tied up in one player is crippling to a team, especially in the flat cap world.
