Pods with another big day. Our Alex Tuch in training

Help is coming. Can't wait to see this kid and Hoglander in the same lineup.......maybe even on the same line next season.

Hog Pod line ? Yes please .

I'd take Lucic's 7 goals and 7 assists over Eriksson's 0 and 1, though.  With 105 hits he'd instantly be on top of our list of players hitting ( although at -13 he'd be up in the Quinn Hughes/Adam Gaudette territory)

GM JB dropped the ball, if he could have potentially move LE for Lucic it would have been a good move for us. Is he worth his cap hit no, but does he provide grit and toughness and a willingness to stand up for his teammates, YES!

Would have been a good deterrent to have around vs Vegas last summer and could fill a role on our roster albeit way over paid but still serviceable, compared with the Janitor we have up in the press box

For sure... CAR is right there

. I made a post cpl days ago talking about CAR being #1 team in the league.. good exciting young team

.

Car and Fla might make good trading partners for insurance D or forwards for a playoff run.

No hate, but anyone who sees a top line of Vesey-Miller-Gaudette and thinks we still have a shot at making the playoffs is out of their mind.

To me, it's not so much the personnel, but how this team has lost some games this season when they did. They've looked lifeless with the full roster (including Pettersson) and been incapable of preventing the opposition from hemming them in their own end.

I'm not giving Green a pass either. He's definitely not extracting even close to maximum performance out of his team, but at the same time we're still a few roster pieces away from being a true competitor. Just a wash of a season.

Lucic has one extra year on his contract over Loui. Would you take Lucic for an extra year just so he's an upgrade over Loui today?

Having Lucic's $6m caphit on the books in 2022-2023 is going to be a nasty contract when Petey and Hughes are hitting their prime.

I don't mind Graovac on the PP because he is a big body and can fight for loose pucks, but I had always thought Travis Boyd was more a defensive specialist than offensive. Then again I saw a highlight package of him with the Hershey Bears and he does have some good vision.

Nothing's written in slate; lines can be adjusted and adapted throughout the game.  Realistically, the Canucks will not make the playoffs, but I still want them to play well as a team, win some tough games and end the season feeling optimistic about their future.

I totally agree. My comment was just a reference to the lack of depth our forward group has.
