I liked him the first game but not as much the last two, I'm swinging towards OJ if I'm honest not as flashy but better overall atm IMO.

Bowey looking more fleet of foot then Schenn and OJ. He might be the 7th Dman to fill in until Hamonic gets here.

I am liking the quiet efficient defensive game of Burroughs.  He isn't flashy but he also doesn't make mistakes.

I think we do need him.

At least as one of the first call ups for right hand Ds.

I like that he’s trying to be creative but yeah coaches need to have a quick chat and reel him in a bit, at least for the 3rd.

Not unfair.

 

But they are errors.  Not issues like he is not fast enough, not capable enough. I had always argued he was unlikely too steal PP minutes f Hughes or OEL.  Then thhe question is whether he best for the 3rd pair LD role.  He looks slicker, more skilled than OJ. It does not mean he is better for that role?

Rathbone has lots of potential. But he’s not a finished product yet.  He will need a year in Abby to refine his game…
