Colorado might trade Byram, but what they will want back is a big question.

Byram is a risky trade, due to his concussion history. Hopefully that is all behind him...but.

IMHAO we’d need to give up Bo and Bone to get Byram + prospect.

Zero chance they give up Byram.
Even with the plan to resign Bo, why would they even consider that?

The kid has legit top pairing potential and is only 21.
4th overall pick.

Would anyone trade at 21 for Horvat?

Let alone UFA Horvat?   Hahahahha
Not a snowballs chance in hell.

What if we threw in Still-man?

As a little secondary piece, sure.  He projects as “maybe” a middle six winger… so he isn’t getting them Horvat.

Byram and this guy for Horvat sure.  We take the risk of Byram’s injury history, they take the risk they can’t re-sign Horvat.

I’d bet they would like to trade Girard.
Im not interest in him at all though.
We have enough undersized one way dmen.

I agree Byram is a great bridge candidate.

I think so, admittedly I'm not really interested in Girard either but I can see why some folks might be. He could play in someone's top 4 and is locked up to a pretty solid contract that takes him through most of his prime.

Nothing wrong with him at all.
He is a pretty great player.
He just doesn’t fill a need at all.
He would be fairly redundant in our lineup

Pretty much, he wouldn't be a poor add by any means but we've already got a smaller guy back there in Hughes. And another hopeful in Rathbone. He's a quality player but I don't think he's the right ingredient so to speak.

Not a fan of that shrimperoo, who provides little to no offence.

The trade should be pending medical examination.

I'd roll the dice on Byram + F prospect + 1st for Bo.

See them yet?
There are 3 on this page alone.
Someone even had the guff to say Newhook AND Byram.
Another was Byram and a former 1st.
so yeah…..   hahahahaha

byram 10 games 5 points

newhook 17 games 6 points

horvat  19 games 21 points

crazy….

A player in his prime putting up solid numbers for two guys that may or may not turn into what they were drafted as and one had injury issues.
but yeah let’s aim low just give us your scraps for one of our best players. Lolololololol

Not a good take Alf, that's actually one of the things he's pretty good at.

27 points in 82 games in 18-19

34 points in 70 games in 19-20

32 points in 48 games in 20-21

28 points in 67 games in 21-22

4 points in 11 thus far.

Over the course of a full season you're getting roughly 30ish points, give or take a bit. With potential for more depending on what you make of his points vs games played.

Locked in for 4 more seasons after this one at a reasonable 5M. Can play both sides from what I understand.

He's not a bad player by any means, I just don't personally view him as someone I'd add to our D. Though he'd immediately make our offense from the back end better, we don't have enough players on D who produce reliable offense. I'd just ideally like someone a bit bigger given we've already got a smaller guy in Hughes. But no, I wouldn't be devastated if he played for us.

21 year old dman scoring at .5ppg.

Aging player who is obviously not going to sustain this, as he never has before in his career, and about to become a UFA and seeking an anchor of a contract.

Im not saying Bo isn’t worth a good package, I’m saying there is no way the Avs are trading their recent 4th overall who is developing well.

Newhook and a pick is fair.

All after you started it by being the first person to mentioned Byram in 20 pages (yes I checked). I didn't find a mention, I just got bored. Hence why I asked if you always start the subject like you did this time.

Nope I didn’t.
In fact, there are a couple just above my post where I said it wasn’t happening. Lol.
This seems to be really important to you.
Do you want me to just say ‘ok, Byram is on his way.  That’s why he isn’t playing tonight’??
