Vancouver, B.C. - The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF) is excited to announce that the 50/50 jackpot on Saturday, February 12 vs Toronto is estimated to reach $500,000.

Tickets are available now at canucks.com/online5050 and will close at the end of the 2nd intermission on game day. The CFKF and its beneficiaries support local communities across British Columbia, providing critical access to advance children's health, wellness, education, and to grow grassroots hockey throughout the province.

The 50/50 raffle gives fans in British Columbia more chances to win during every Canucks game - home or away. Whether you're purchasing a ticket in-arena at the game or online, you're directly supporting local communities.

ONLINE 50/50 INFORMATION:

Fans can select from one of four ticket pack options:

  • 3 Tickets for $5
  • 7 Tickets for $10
  • 50 Tickets for $20
  • 150 Tickets for $50

The take-home prize is 50 percent of the total final jackpot amount. The winning ticket numbers for each draw will be announced in-arena and will be posted online at canucks.com/online5050 shortly after each draw.

Online tickets can only be purchased by fans located within British Columbia at the time of purchase. Must be 19+ to play. Know your limit, play within it.

HATS OFF TO MILLER

J.T. Miller recorded his second career hat trick on Jan. 27 vs WPG, matching career-highs in goals (3) and points (4). He became just the third American player in team history to register a hat trick, joining Ryan Kesler (3x) and teammate Brock Boeser (3x).

QUICK STRIKES

Going 2-for-2 in just 0:17 of cumulative power play time on Jan. 27 at WPG, Vancouver set an NHL record for least power play time (tracked since 2009.10) required in a game to register two power play goals and became the only team to score twice in under 20 total seconds on the man-advantage.

A GRAND ACCOMPLISHMENT

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau coached his 1,000th NHL game (577-306-117) on Jan. 23 vs STL, becoming the 29th coach in NHL history and sixth active Head Coach (Trotz, Ruff, D. Sutter, Laviolette, Tippett) to reach the milestone. Only one head coach in NHL history (Scotty Bowman, 598 wins) had more wins than Boudreau's 577 at the 1,000 game mark.

Well the PK has been good so perhaps we can win despite the buttman antics. We need this more than the laffs so if the intensity is not there, it's a sign the team is done like my mother's perpetually over-cooked beef roasts. GCG

Just play smart, keep the feet moving. Don't let the refs be put in a position they have to make a call. Because you know it rarely goes Vancouver's way.
