Sophomore Jinx
Looks like he had a helluva season last year (and collegiate career), seems like a good pick up to add to their pipeline, he was busted for doping while claiming innocence (like they all do) so there's that.....anyway, I'm wondering why he signed an AHL (Marlies) contract instead of a 2-way NHL contract? Maybe the Laffs were trying to save a contract spot and have some flexibility? Thoughts CDC? Maple Leafs sign Hobey Baker-winning netminder Dryden McKay (msn.com) Edited April 26, 2022 by -Vintage Canuck- Signing tag added.

CanuckinEdm
someone should now sign him to an NHL contract to screw over the leafs of another goalie prospect. You know he's good got the power of the juice.
Popular Post Alflives
Leafs are LOSERS! Their fans are LOSERS! Toronto is a LOSER city. This goalie will be a bustaroo LOSER bonsai! 2
nergish
Really nice collegiate career, but probably too small to stick as a Pro netminder. 1

Maple Leafs sign Hobey Baker-winning netminder Dryden McKay (msn.com) Wait, doesn't this mean he's technically not a Maple Leaf? That technically any NHL team can still sign him to a proper contract?

My guess is there's probably some kind of Right of First Refusal provision in his Marlie's contract that gives the Leafs first dibs to sign him at the NHL level.
JeremyCuddles
6'0, 180 pounds, 24 years old. 25 in November. Same situation as DiPietro I suppose. Undersized guy, needs a lot of skill to overcome that. The fact he only got a AHL contract likely means he's a long shot. But will be interesting to see how he does.

But ya, vomit bag time. 1

nux_win
That's quite the name for a goaltender. I wonder how much parental "encouragement" there was to be a goalie. GCG!
