We just slipped to 29th spot - one point behind the very worst teams in the entire national Hockey League and they have games in hand.  We should have the basement spot locked-up in the next 48 hours with S.J.

Thanks JR for putting us in the lead for Beddard - and why Aqua-Lini hired you.

An Anaheim win in OT tonight would put us in dead last.

Might only need to wait half an hour…

You're right, Jersey's been playing fantastic hockey

The problem is our margin for error is getting smaller with each loss, if they're gonna turn it around they need to start doing it fast

Two wins were a good start but they need more if they want any chance at crawling back into the race

Absolutely right.

So let's give them twenty games and see how things stand.

This premature panic is unseemly.

Games like these will keep happening when all we do is give the other team the puck so we can change lines.

How this continues to happen after a decade is beyond infuriating.

We need a coach that focuses on the little things that win you games because Bruce doesn't give a sh*t. He keeps sending out guys who never forecheck and we keep watching the same defensive pairings who can't defend get unlimited ice time.

This whole fan base respects blue collar hockey players who go in and put in work and management doesn't give a single rat's ass about it.

Guy Boucher, Alain Vignault assistant. We wouldn't lose a game

The issue is they have more younger players to be excited about and we are languishing in no mans land.  If you take the Bo/Schneider trade as a starting point for both teams, who looks more like a competitor right now?

Yeah I know all that. I'm just saying that anyone who thought winning two games meant all the issues were magically solved and we are in a place to legitimately beat a team like NJ needs to cool it.

The problems are still there.

I haven't seen panic in this thread though, it's mostly people saying we laid an egg and gave up multiple odd man rushes

They'll get their twenty games but the results on the ice weren't good tonight and that's been a pattern much of the season

Lol. This teams simply not good enough, in twenty games they will be 6-14 if they're lucky.

At this point might as well go full send and gut it. Make the best hockey trades you can and gather as many picks and prospects as you can gather. That includes every single player on this roster and there is nobody not named. This core is dysfunctional and it’s been long enough to warrant that it isn’t going to work.

Thank you Francesco.

10 years of absolute sh*t to (at best) mediocre hockey and no fruits to the labour.

"re-tooling on the fly" by taking on bad contracts because you insisted to management on having to make this team "competitive".

A spat with our greatest captain Trevor Linden with him resulting in cutting ties with this team (not been near this team since) when he decided to go against what you and your puppet Benning had to say, as he realized your pathetic strategy wouldn't work.

Now we can't even move out contracts to fix this team even if we wanted to, without having to give up draft picks/pay a hefty price.

Too many issues on this team and with out hands tied behind our back.

Good f*cking luck.
